Hazardous Materials Unit 2-2, or Hazmat 2-2, is a PA South Central Task Force asset used by our team. This vehicle includes the capability to managing a hazardous materials spill with a primary focus on hydrocarbons. The vehicle includes a myriad of personal protective equipment, detection, mitigation supplies; and yes even a research library.
When combined with the spill trailer, this unit is capable of mitigating small and large scale hydrocarbon spills. For more information see trailers section.
