This includes our Unmanned Aerial System Program as well as our UTV.
Since 2015 our Telepresnce Unit provides critical support during Haz Mat incidents. This innovative approach has been instrumental in bridging the gap between experts and on-site responders, facilitating a more efficient and effective response. This division has been showcased on the national level, with the team providing assistance to Haz Mat Teams in six states.

1971 International Step Van originally owned by the East Petersburg Fire Company as a rescue vehicle. We used it as a suit up vehicle, command , and resource section.

Manheim Twp. EMA purchased the Coke Cola Beverage truck that carries bulk supplies of Speedy Dry, Booms, pads and drums.

In the 1980's, this converted school bus was the brainchild of Manheim Twp. EMA Director Larry Widmer. This unit responded with the Haz Mat Team on all major incidents. It contained radios on every frequency in the county, as well as a Ham Radio. This provided Command Staff from various agencies to meet in a central location to discuss strategies and tactics. It was also capable of connecting to an existing landline outlet. It also contained a small soundproof office space and a bathroom.

1974 Mack CF-600 Pumper (1500/500/350 Foam) originally owned by Mount Sinai Fire Dept. in New York was redesigned to meet the needs of the Fire Brigade at Armstrong World Industries at the Lancaster Floor Plant. It was later donated to Haz Mat 2 as part of the Lancaster County Foam Task Force

This unit is an essential part of the PA South Central Task Force and now is assigned to Lancaster County EMA

This Containment trailer had essential support equipment for hydrocarbon spills. It currently is with Lancster County EMA.
