Hazardous Materials Unit 1, a 1999 Ford E-450 Ambulance served Lebanon EMS 180 (Lawn EMS) until it was purchase by Haz Mat 2 Environmental Fire Rescue Company in 2016. Primarily designed to support the missions of Haz Mat 2, it also serves as a backup as part of the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) in the event that Haz Mat 2 unavailable. Haz Mat 1 also serves as the central hub for our sUAS (drone) equipment and along with the necessary support equipment. It also serves as a Rehab area providing a climate controlled work area.
